An eclectic mix of quirkiness descended on the West Midlands as French lovers from across the country gathered to showcase their French automotive cuisine at Motofest Coventry.
Just in case you didn’t know it, Citroën celebrated its centenary in style on Sunday 2 June at Motofest Coventry. To mark 100 years of the iconic French brand, the Citroën Car Club and Power Maxed Motofest Coventry organised a mass convoy of almost 1000 Citroën models from throughout the years.
Karl Howkins, Citroën UK Managing Director, commented:
“We are really excited to be part of MotoFest Coventry this year.
“Not only is the festival a heritage event, but it also showcases what is happening in the automotive world now and in the future. Celebrating our centenary here in Coventry is the perfect way to rejoice in our rich history and look to the exciting future ahead for the brand. We are equally happy to be assisting the many enthusiasts who are putting on the Citroën Centenary Event, looking after our heritage and promoting links between owners and the brand.”
Citroën UK also displayed a range of cars from its current line-up and showcased four heritage models amongst the ruins of Coventry Cathedral.
Heres a taste of the action that Sunday.
