Brooklands New Years Day Gathering

Event Summary: Everybody – whether you’re driving a “Classic” or not – is welcome to join us at what is probably the largest New Year’s Day Classic Vehicle Gathering in the UK.

With over 1,000 vehicles expected, live music and a winter barbeque and other additional food outlets, there will be something for everybody amongst the vast and diverse displays of classics all descending on Brooklands to kick start 2020 in style.

35th Yorkshire Classic Vehicle Show

Event Summary: 700-year-old Ripley Castle, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, has been home to the Ingilby family for 26 generations. Just 3 miles north of historic Harrogate, it’s easily accessible from the A1. The castle boasts historic armour and furnishings, extensive gardens and deer-park, plus national horticultural collections, so there’s plenty to explore for a packed family day out.

Filling this magnificent space will be a huge display of classic cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks and ex-military vehicles. Private classic cars are warmly invited along.

Extensive club stands will give visitors the chance to swap tips with fellow enthusiasts. Arena demonstrations and full-commentary parades include the popular Land Rover Display, whilst the large autojumble and range of trade stands could provide that vital missing part for your own project. With the splendid castle as backdrop, show entry includes admission to the castle grounds, gardens and parkland, with castle tours also available at a small extra charge.

London Concours d’Elegance

21st Ripon Classic Car & Bike Show

Heveningham Hall Concours d’Elegance Suffolk

Event Summary: Heveningham Concours, inaugurated in 2016 as a motorsport event, brings together some 50 of the world’s finest motor cars which are displayed amid the backdrop of Grade I listed Georgian mansion Heveningham Hall on dramatic grass terraces designed by renowned landscape architect Kim Wilkie.

Since its inauguration, Heveningham Concours has evolved to include a separate aviation concours, Horsepower Hill, a ‘drag race’ for owners & guests along the main estate road, and The Heveningham Tour, a 50-mile drive for owners through the Suffolk countryside with a stop for lunch.

Heveningham Concours takes place at the same time as the annual Country Fair which itself attracts over 20,000 visitors to the 5,000 acre Capability Brown landscape.

Great North Classic Car Show

21st Leighton Hall Classic Car & Bike Show

Tewkesbury Classic Vehicle Festival

Concours of Elegance

Event Summary: The UK’s finest concours d’elegance event will return to the exquisite surroundings of Henry VIII’s former home from 6-8 September, bringing with it a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of spectacular vehicles.

The Concours of Elegance’s main display of around 60 vehicles will be the focal point of the event, telling the story of the motor car from the 1890s right through to the modern-day. Picking out icons and rarities from the world’s most famous car brands, including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti and Rolls-Royce, the Concours of Elegance is a celebration of craftsmanship, luxury and innovation.

Goodwood Revival

Event Summary: The romance and glamour of motor racing as it used to be. The Revival is the only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in period dress and is a return to the halcyon days of Goodwood as the spiritual home of British motor racing.

It’s an unabashed celebration of flat-out wheel-to-wheel racing, around the sweeps and curves of this classic circuit, which remains unchanged since its heyday. The inaugural Revival opened on 18 September 1998, when the Earl of March drove around the circuit in the Bristol 400 in which his grandfather, the 9th Duke of Richmond, opened the track 50 years before. It’s now the world’s most celebrated historic motor racing event, with race fans coming from all over the country to soak up the unique atmosphere in period costume.
