Austin 7 Rally

Great North Classic Car Show – Cancelled

Event Summary: The Annual Great North Classic Car Show in conjunction with the very special Aston Workshops has announced the show will include a Concours d’Elegance to compliment the 400+ classic car showcase at the Black Horse Beamish Saturday. Famous for its picturesque backdrop and stunning scenery, the show has now doubled in size with the introduction of new features to include:

  • On-site auction sale of prestige, classic, collectors and high-performance motor cars and automobilia. Entries are still open for this event. Enquires via Aston Workshop for information on this event.

21st Leighton Hall Classic Car & Bike Show

Event Summary: This July will be a terrific opportunity to see over 500 classic vehicles at one of the most comprehensive and diverse shows in the summer classic car calendar.

Grade II* listed Leighton Hall is 5 miles north of Lancaster and easily accessed from the M6. Home to the Gillow family of furniture makers, it boasts unrivalled collections of exquisite furniture and artefacts. Take the opportunity to photograph classic cars in the historic parkland against the backdrop of the dramatic Lakeland fells, and explore the grounds and gardens.

Plenty of club stands and over 500 classic vehicles will be on show including cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, 4x4s, military vehicles and commercials.

Tewkesbury Classic Vehicle Festival

Concours of Elegance

Event Summary: The UK’s finest concours d’elegance event will return to the exquisite surroundings of Henry VIII’s former home from 6-8 September, bringing with it a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of spectacular vehicles.

The Concours of Elegance’s main display of around 60 vehicles will be the focal point of the event, telling the story of the motor car from the 1890s right through to the modern-day. Picking out icons and rarities from the world’s most famous car brands, including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti and Rolls-Royce, the Concours of Elegance is a celebration of craftsmanship, luxury and innovation.

Sleeping with Art

Event Summary: An immersive art experience for those who adore cars.

‘Sleeping with Art’ was developed during lockdown with a focus on some breathtaking automotive art and prototypes displayed as sculptures. Displays will be available throughout the beautiful grounds of the Lemore estate as well as inside the building. Guests can choose to either spend the day with like-minded enthusiasts and collectors at the event or stay overnight.

Goodwood Revival

Event Summary: The romance and glamour of motor racing as it used to be. The Revival is the only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in period dress and is a return to the halcyon days of Goodwood as the spiritual home of British motor racing.

It’s an unabashed celebration of flat-out wheel-to-wheel racing, around the sweeps and curves of this classic circuit, which remains unchanged since its heyday. The inaugural Revival opened on 18 September 1998, when the Earl of March drove around the circuit in the Bristol 400 in which his grandfather, the 9th Duke of Richmond, opened the track 50 years before. It’s now the world’s most celebrated historic motor racing event, with race fans coming from all over the country to soak up the unique atmosphere in period costume.

Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show 2021

Event Summary: Billed as the Biggest and Best Classic Motor Show in the UK, the event welcomes classic car enthusiasts from all over the UK and beyond to share their passion for classics. This year’s show begins Friday 8-10 November 2019 at Birmingham’s NEC and will exhibit over 2,500 amazing classic cars and motorbikes covering over one million square feet.

A diverse mix of marques will be showcased by 240 classic car and bike clubs from across the UK, displaying rare and loved classics that span more than 100 years.
