COVID-19: Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show Cancelled

With the rapid development of the Covid-19 pandemic and after extensive discussions with all the show’s partners, Clarion Events Ltd has taken the difficult decision to postpone the forthcoming Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show, with Discovery.

Clarion Events Ltd is working with the NEC to find suitable options to reschedule the event.

Tickets already purchased will be valid for the rescheduled date. Further updates will be issued once the organisers have more information to share. Ticket holders are advised to check the website and social media channels as well as monitor their inbox for newsletters.

Lee Masters, Show Director, said:
“The wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors and staff is paramount. Therefore, we have taken the decision to postpone the event. This is an unprecedented situation and we ask for patience as we transition to the new date.”

All ticket and exhibitor bookings will be carried over to the new date. If you have any questions, please visit the website or contact your ticket vendor directly.

As a smaller event gathering, Classic Car Auctions will be running its auction as originally planned.

It was announced earlier this morning that the popular Petersen Automotive Museum had also decided to close its doors to the general public for the foreseeable time, with a view to opening when the COVID-19 issues had either settled down or been eradicated.

  1. Dear Sirs

Could you please tell me if the classic car show is still
going ahead on the 7th – 9th of August or has it been
    cancelled altogether for this year
    Thank you

    • Hi,

The event organisers have rescheduled for August 7 – 9 2020. That said, the NEC is currently in ‘Nightingale’ status and may remain so for the foreseeable future.

We will have more information very shortly and will post this ASAP.
