A classic invitation from E-Type UK and DM Historics to an informal gathering of likeminded enthusiasts.

This Saturday E-Type UK and DM Historics will play host to an informal gathering in the picturesque surroundings of North Frith Farm, Hadlow, Kent.

A first for both firms, the event will be a chance for anyone to bring their pride and joy down for a morning of automotive indulgence and enjoy a hot beverage and slice of cake while surrounded by a wide range of stunning classics.

The Kent based meet will also give attendees access to the workshops and a chance to meet the team behind both companies. With extensive in-house facilities, attendees will also see ongoing restoration projects in a variety of stages from standard to upgraded and get to meet the technicians behind the machines.

Founder Marcus Holland:

We are all really looking forward to welcoming a host of car fans down to North Frith Farm and showing what we’ve been up to behind the scenes. As the weather begins to improve, this is a fine chance for classic car owners to stretch the legs of their machines on lovely Kent B-roads, pick our brains and see some top-class machinery.”

High-performance and concours

A selection of vehicles for sale, ranging from both high-performance and concours E-types to a freshly restored coachbuilt British Rolls-Royce icon, Italian rally racer Fiat and much more will be available for viewing.

Ample private parking is available on-site, ensuring your car is a stone’s throw from the action, kept safe and available for all to see. Tea, coffee and cake will be served to fuel automotive discussion, and the team behind E-Type UK and DM Historics will be on hand to answer any questions on the sales, servicing and restoration of classic automobiles.

  1. I note the use of both “Petrolheads” and “Classic”. The definition of these two terms are light years apart. Petrolheads are those who love cars of all categories with the emphasis on muscle, hotrods and modifications to all.
Classic lovers are enthusiasts who love and respect all cars with the emphasis on age, originality and, although maintained in excellent condition, are used frequently on club runs, rallies, classic car shows etc. Please don’t confuse the two terms.

  2. We are always open to solid criticism, with remedial advice. The caption has been adjusted to suit the paragraph it was meant to reflect Martin. Thanks for the input.

  3. Sepecillious comment. I’ve owned, restored and currently work within the ‘Classic Car’ industry and consider myself well and truly a ‘petrolhead’. I’m also an enthusiast, who has never modified or had any connection to over the pond muscle!

Classic Car lovers, as you call them, can be anything from Lord to Lady, without bells and whistles.

    Opinions are exactly that. 🙂
