Classic Car Show – E-type Jaguar

March 1961 was a month lucky enough to witness ‘the most beautiful car ever made’. More than half a century later, the elegant and sporty E-type Jaguar can still give it’s extravagant successors a good run in any grandiose opinion polls.

It was Italian motor racing driver, entrepreneur and subsequently of the Ferrari automobile marque, Enzo Ferrari who labelled the ‘big cat’ we have all grown to respect and cherish so much.

Of course Jaguar isn’t all about the E-type, with subsequent designers and engineers striving constantly to stir passion and emotions through innovative techniques.

As Jaguar states itself:
“Life. It’s not about figures. It’s about feelings. The moments that feed your soul. The occasions that take your breath away. The instances that leave you speechless. These are the moments we live for.”

The 2017 Lancaster Insurance Classic Car Show showcased a whole range of jaw-dropping Jaguars, that literally took the breath away from those lucky enough to visit this spectacular exhibition of outstanding classics.
