Following the success of the first REVS Limiter which took place a matter of weeks ago, an additional two-day event will happen this weekend (13-14 June) and is open to any and all enthusiasts with a passion for vehicles they enjoy.
The event was initially built to provide a social and inclusive weekend for those passionate about vehicles and those struggling with the effects of lockdown and gained so much traction the first time around, it was decided a REVS Restored with a similar format would happen this weekend.
REVS Virtual Car Show Start Time
Beginning Saturday at 9:30 am, the live show includes some the well-known TV presenters, motoring gurus, experts, influential car designers and talented artists. With new stories, videos and pictures being added across the weekend, there’ll be plenty to enjoy and share.
With a mix of how-tos, Q&A sessions as well as virtual workshop tours, confirmed contributors are set to include Aston Martin Works, Fuzz Townshend, Jimmy DeVille, Mike Brewer, Peter Stevens and Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars duo Paul Cowland and Drew Pritchard.
“The incredible positivity of the first event was down to the outstanding contribution made by our passionate supporters, and I know that many found it a tremendous help during a stressful time.
“REVS Restored is for everyone, and we want as many people to join and participate as possible. It doesn’t matter which classic vehicles you’re interested in – there’s room for everyone.”
Powered by the commitment of its contributors, the non-commercial project is working with Mission Motorsport, the forces charity focused on the recovery and rehabilitation of service personnel through the competition of motorsport and working within the automotive industry. For the weekend, the REVS Mission Exhibition allows motoring artists the chance to sell a single piece of work and donate the proceeds to Mission Motorsport.
REVS Restored will run as a Facebook group, and people can upload their own pictures/stories of their cars – sharing their passion for any vehicle. The group is open to all and can be joined by visiting this link and joining the group.
