Peugeot have launched five new 1:18 scaled models that have made an impact on the company’s history.
When it comes to designing cars, the French marque have often been criticised for being either too quirky or slightly brash, with their German counterparts grinning self-assuredly.
Its true French cars went through a transitional period, leaving the brand lacking in confidence, but their beautiful styling and sometimes innovative approach to flamboyance is to be admired.
With that in mind, the company has decided to design and launch five elegant models that reflect the historical detail of their elder brothers.
The models will be made of diecast construction and will include the Peugeot 504 Cabrio, Peugeot 302 Darl’Mat Roadster, Peugeot 402 Eclipse, Peugeot 309 GTi and Peugeot 206 RC.
Scaled to 1:18 and released through its Online Shop, these elegant miniatures are symbolic of the French brand and its belief in styling.

The Green 1937 Peugeot 402 Eclipse arrives with suicide doors and was produced between 1935 and 1942 and designed in the ‘fuseaux Sochaux’ style, boasting an innovative automatic hard top.
The Peugeot 309 GTi is dressed in Vallelunga Red and the Peugeot 206 RC in the recognisable Aden Red. Both have great detail, including their spoilers, alloy rims, skirts and bonnet air ducting.
