All things French as Citroën plans a ‘The Gathering of the Century’, which will take place at the historic site of la Ferté-Vidame (Eure-et-loir, France).
Fans of the quirky marque have until 30 April 2019 to register their old Citroën vehicles for #CitroënGenerations, which pays homage to the brands centenary festivities.
Taking place from July 19 – 21 2019, a gathering of around 5000 iconic Citroën models will be selected and showcased with upwards of 50,000 enthusiasts expected to attend the three-day French indulgement. Anyone interested can register athttps://en.citroencc.com/
The Gathering of the Century
The culmination of Citroën’s centenary festivities, ‘The Gathering of the Century’, will take place from 19 to 21 July 2019 and will take over the legendary site of la Ferté-Vidame, the brand’s secret testing site where, most notably, the 2CV was developed. This event is curated by Amicale Citroën & DS France in partnership with l’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS. An active supporter of the event, Citroën is getting involved in the plans with a special exhibition. This international gathering promises to be historic in more ways than one, with:
- Around 11,000 collectors expected
- Up to 5,000 cars on display
- Around 50,000 attendees expected at the site over the three days
