MotoFest Coventry

Date & Time: MotoFest Coventry is a motoring festival based in Coventry, UK. MotoFest is a unique blend of motorsport demonstrations, static displays, live music and anything else with a connection to Coventry and transport.

Bedford Festival Of Motoring

Event Summary – Bedford’s beautiful Embankment is this year hosting the first ever Bedford Festival of Motoring, which will take place alongside the regular Bedford International Kite Festival in Russell Park on the first weekend of June 2019.

The inaugural Bedford Festival of Motoring is being brought to the town by Bedford Borough Council in partnership with Adrian Grubb of Events with Panache. Adrian has previously been involved with the successful launch and management of the Stratford-upon-Avon Festival of Motoring.

The Festival will ultimately endeavour to embrace all things motoring in the UK with special displays of vehicles, ultra-modern, luxurious and bizarre, iconic and soon forgotten, motorsport in all its guises, motorcycles and bicycles and commercial, agricultural and military but most of all, Classic Cars!

Apart from the Motoring attractions, visitors will also be able to enjoy the well-established Bedford International Kite Festival, over the same two days, adjacent to the Embankment, in
Russell Park.

Tatton Car Spectacular

Event Summary – Since its inception, this popular Lions event has grown year on year and has attracted some magnificent vehicles, lots of visitors and has helped to raise thousands of pounds for some very worthwhile local charities.

You are actively encouraged you to bring the family along for this fun-filled day and see some magnificent classic cars, motorbikes, caravans, trucks and tractors. And why not make a day of it with the family and join in our many attractions and games.

In 2019 this event is scheduled for Sunday 16th June 2019 on the Grasmere Sportsfield in Cumbria. You can bring along the whole family to have a fun-packed day out. On arrival visitors will be given a score sheet to vote for your favourite vehicle across a number of categories – and prizes are awarded based on the public vote.

If you are an owner of a classic vehicle we encourage you to bring it along to display to the public. There is a charge of a minimum donation of £5 per vehicle (if booked in advance), which also gets two people into the show. Instructions and entry forms can be located on our event website.

20th Leighton Hall Classic Car & Bike Show

Winslow Classic Run

Ticket Price – The planning team has been busy evaluating pubs and restaurants on the route and their suggestions are in the route book which will be in the entry pack at the start, along with hot drinks and bacon sandwiches, all included in the entry cost of £40.

Event Summary – The Rotary Club of Winslow’s classic car run goes from strength to strength thanks to the organising team’s hard work in providing an entertaining day’s driving for both drivers and navigators.

Winning much acclaim from entrants over the past three years for the smooth organisation, great driving roads and interesting finish venues this year’s event will be on Sunday July 14th, starting from Fringford, between Buckingham and Bicester. The event is open to all cars registered before 1994 and ‘interesting later vehicles’ at the organiser’s discretion. This year’s route takes participants through the Cotswolds, visiting picturesque villages linked by the best driving roads with some spectacular views across magnificent countryside. Finishing at Waterperry house and gardens which offers a wealth of activities for all to enjoy, the distance of about 90 miles should take some four hours to complete without refreshment stops.

All profits from the event are distributed to Winslow Rotary’s charity of the year – The Puzzle Centre, which assists autistic children in early years learning.

Tewkesbury Classic Vehicle Festival

Display Vehicles and Advance Tickets:
• Classic Cars, Bikes, other Vintage vehicles are priced at £5.00 per vehicle via online pre-booking (driver included), passengers also £5.00 (on the gate price £7.50).
• A classic car or motorcycle display vehicle should be a minimum of 25 years old, or of special interest such as exotic sports cars, rare or very limited production runs, kit cars and anything out of the ordinary.
• Gates open at 9.30am for display vehicles and 11.00am for general admission.
• Trade stands pitches are 3mx3m at only £30, available to book via the website.
• General public admission tickets are available priced £5.00 (on the gate price £7.50).
• Children under 12 years old go free.

Event Summary – Over 1000 classic vehicles will be represented, from the dawn of the motoring era, to pre-war, post-war, American, sports cars to custom cars and hot rods.

It’s not just cars either . . . Over 200 classic motorcycles will be displayed, with all the major marques represented.

The Festival features live vintage entertainment courtesy of the Haywood Sisters, Lindy Hop dance dancers, plus 110 quality trade stands including car accessories, memorabilia, autojumble and a wide selection of onsite catering.

The event, now in its 9th year is the Rotary Clubs’ biggest charity annual fundraiser which actively raises thousands of pounds for both national and regional charities. Over £120,000 has been donated since its inception.

Classic & Retro Show at Himley Hall, Dudley

Event Summary – Set in beautiful parklands and grounds of Himley Hall, which is an 18th Century Building set amongst 180 acres of landscaped parkland. The classic & retro show presents a fine selection of up to 800 vehicles as well as trade and autojumble stands. There will be a number of static displays to see including saloons, sports, American, commercial, military and classic motorcycles.

More than 35 motoring clubs will be attending with their members and private owners bringing along all manner of models from original cars in long-term family ownership to the lovingly rebuilt, including a barn-find 1971 Morris Minor restored from a bare shell.

Event Summary – The UK’s finest concours d’elegance event will return to the exquisite surroundings of Henry VIII’s former home from 6-8 September, bringing with it a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of spectacular vehicles.

Goodwood Revival

Date & Time – 13-15 September 2019

Event Summary – The romance and glamour of motor racing as it used to be. The Revival is the only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in period dress and is a return to the halcyon days of Goodwood as the spiritual home of British motor racing.

It’s an unabashed celebration of flat-out wheel-to-wheel racing, around the sweeps and curves of this classic circuit, which remains unchanged since its heyday. The inaugural Revival opened on 18 September 1998, when the Earl of March drove around the circuit in the Bristol 400 in which his grandfather, the 9th Duke of Richmond, opened the track 50 years before. It’s now the world’s most celebrated historic motor racing event, with race fans coming from all over the country to soak up the unique atmosphere in period costume.

Mini Fest at Stanford Hall

Event Summary – Stanford Hall was designed and built in 1690 by Smiths of Warwick and was commissioned by Sir Roger Cave, ancestor of the present owner Nicholas Fothergill. It houses some important and rare paintings and antiques which reflect the family history. The Hall is surrounded by ancient parkland rich in natural history and beauty and a further 900 acres.
