British Mini Fair 2019

Event Summary – Europe’s #1 historic motorsport show, celebrated the 40th anniversary of the ground-effects era in the Motor Sport Hall of Fame Live, the centre piece of the show. The showstopper of the display was no doubt the Lotus 79 which took Mario Andretti to the world championships and was the first car to take on this ground breaking technology back in 1978.

Hero – Three Legs of Mann Classic Rally

Event Summary – 2019 sees the return of the 3 Legs of Mann for its 4th addition based once again at the Best Western Palace Hotel & Casino on the seafront in Douglas. The event will commence on Friday morning with the 1st leg finishing as darkness falls giving the crews a short respite before the second leg in darkness, the final day will see another batch of regularities and tests including a number of closed road tests as well as some of the event favourites from the past.

Practical Classics Restoration Show

Medway Festival of Steam and Transport

Gawsworth Classic Cheshire

Event Summary – An annual event since 1998, the show takes place from 10.30am to 4.30pm in the walled Elizabethan pleasure gardens. A highlight of the Hall season, it has long been one of the north west’s most popular rallies, attracting an eclectic mix of classic cars and motorcycles from the turn of the last century to the present day.

With the first recorded rally taking place in 1902, and held by the Manchester automobile club, Gawsworth has long been linked with the motor vehicle. In the 1940s and 1950s the Hall was also home to Denis Ferranti’s wonderful collection, including a T59 Bugatti that now takes pride of place in Ralph Lauren’s garage.

In recent years, highlights include wonderful eight-litre vintage Bentleys, huge posses of American muscle cars, and dozens of period scooters. All are welcome to come and go as they wish, ensuring a relaxing day for both owners and visitors, with an informal concours and autojumble also taking place.

Bedford Festival Of Motoring

Event Summary – Bedford’s beautiful Embankment is this year hosting the first ever Bedford Festival of Motoring, which will take place alongside the regular Bedford International Kite Festival in Russell Park on the first weekend of June 2019.

The inaugural Bedford Festival of Motoring is being brought to the town by Bedford Borough Council in partnership with Adrian Grubb of Events with Panache. Adrian has previously been involved with the successful launch and management of the Stratford-upon-Avon Festival of Motoring.

The Festival will ultimately endeavour to embrace all things motoring in the UK with special displays of vehicles, ultra-modern, luxurious and bizarre, iconic and soon forgotten, motor sport in all its guises, motorcycles and bicycles and commercial, agricultural and military but most of all, Classic Cars!

Super Car Weekend Beaulieu

Tewkesbury Classic Vehicle Festival

Date & Time – Sunday 18th August

Display Vehicles and Advance Tickets:
• Classic Cars, Bikes, other Vintage vehicles are priced at £5.00 per vehicle via online pre-booking (driver included), passengers also £5.00 (on the gate price £7.50).
• A classic car, or motorcycle display vehicle should be a minimum of 25 years old, or of special interest such as exotic sports cars, rare or very limited production runs, kit cars and anything out of the ordinary.
• Gates open at 9.30am for display vehicles and 11.00am for general admission.
• Trade stands pitches are 3mx3m at only £30, available to book via the website.
• General public admission tickets are available priced £5.00 (on the gate price £7.50).
• Children under 12 years old go free.
• Please note: Dogs are not permitted on site.

Event Summary – Over 1000 classic vehicles will be represented, from the dawn of the motoring era, to pre-war, post-war, American, sports cars to custom cars and hot rods.

It’s not just cars either . . . Over 200 classic motorcycles will be displayed, with all the major marques represented.

The Festival features live vintage entertainment courtesy of the Haywood Sisters, Lindy Hop dance dancers, plus 110 quality trade stands including car accessories, memorabilia, autojumble and a wide selection of onsite catering.

The event, now in its 9th year is the Rotary Clubs’ biggest charity annual fundraiser which actively raises thousands of pounds for both national and regional charities. Over £120,000 has been donated since its inception.

Classic & Retro Show at Himley Hall, Dudley

Event Summary – Set in beautiful parklands and grounds of Himley Hall, which is an 18th Century Building set amongst 180 acres of landscaped parkland. The classic & retro show presents a fine selection of up to 800 vehicles as well as trade and autojumble stands. There will be a number of static displays to see including saloons, sports, American, commercial, military and classic motorcycles.

More than 35 motoring clubs will be attending with their members and private owners bringing along all manner of models from original cars in long-term family ownership to the lovingly rebuilt, including a barn-find 1971 Morris Minor restored from a bare shell.

Event Summary – The UK’s finest concours d’elegance event will return to the exquisite surroundings of Henry VIII’s former home from 6-8 September, bringing with it a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of spectacular vehicles.

The Concours of Elegance’s main display of around 60 vehicles will be the focal point of the event, telling the story of the motor car from the 1890s right through to the modern day. Goodwood Revival

Event Summary – The romance and glamour of motor racing as it used to be. The Revival is the only historic race meeting to be staged entirely in period dress and is a return to the halcyon days of Goodwood as the spiritual home of British motor racing.

It’s an unabashed celebration of flat-out wheel-to-wheel racing, around the sweeps and curves of this classic circuit, which remains unchanged since its heyday. The inaugural Revival opened on 18 September 1998, when the Earl of March drove around the circuit in the Bristol 400 in which his grandfather, the 9th Duke of Richmond, opened the track 50 years before. It’s now the world’s most celebrated historic motor racing event, with race fans coming from all over the country to soak up the unique atmosphere in period costume.

Mini Fest at Stanford Hall

Event Summary – Stanford Hall was designed and built in 1690 by Smiths of Warwick and was commissioned by Sir Roger Cave, ancestor of the present owner Nicholas Fothergill. It houses some important and rare paintings and antiques which reflect the family history. The Hall is surrounded by ancient parkland rich in natural history and beauty and a further 900 acres.
The Hall will be open to the public on the 15th September where you can enjoy guided tours around the house. The Stableyard cafe will also open for light lunches and teas.
