The first pair of Aston Martin V12 Zagato TWINS have been built in the UK by R-Reforged to celebrate Zagato’s centenary to compliment the private collection of Andrea and Marella Zagato.
Swiss-based R-Reforged has accepted the challenge to hand-build 19 customer sets of the slick Aston Martin V12 Zagato Heritage TWINS at the company’s new 2,800 square metre premises in Warwick, UK.
Both Speedster and Coupe TWINS are now fully clothed in carbon fibre, embracing the full backing of Aston Martin and incorporate some radical design changes that enhance the aesthetics of a car that is truly stunning to look at.
The stylish nose assembly receives a new splitter and front wings, through to the sleeker tail, now with active aero that transforms the cars’ balance, giving it more stability whilst retaining those famous distinguished Zagato lines we all love to point out to anyone half interested in cars.
A personal service means any of the lucky 19 affluent TWIN buyers can also benefit from a one-to-one service with stylists and engineers to specify matching or individual designs to suit their tastes and dare we say it ’needs’… Decisions, decisions!
As you’d expect from such an expensive purchase, the superior quality of materials and attention to detail are evident in every stage of the 400-hour build process.
Zagato Heritage TWINS Interior
Inside the luxurious cockpit are sensory-rich materials, including Bridge of Weir’s finest Grade A leather with an almost infinite range of colours, bespoke patterns and textures. Choices to-date include a mottled surface texture, just like that of a pebble, and gloss leather to complement the exterior body finish.

The essence of this project was to create a perfect ‘garage’, comprising two desirable and collectable cars; Coupé and Roadster. Limited to just 19 pairs, a significant number, recalling the year Zagato was formed, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato Heritage TWINS by R-Reforged mark a remarkable milestone for the Milanese atelier.
Despite having created over 450 models since our formation, we chose Aston Martin, which has surely been our most prestigious partner over the last 50 years, to mark this celebration. The cooperation with R-Reforged ensured that we could create an instant classic.
Under the bonnet lies the hefty 5.9-litre V12 which now packs close to 600bhp, increased by 80bhp over standard, achieved by those crafty engineers opting for the performance aluminium air intake and Titanium exhaust, accentuating arguably one of the world’s greatest engine soundtracks.
