An incredible concours Ford Escort RS Turbo with only 35,807 genuine miles recorded on its speedometer has been put up for sale by KGF Classics.

The stunning Radiant Red fast Ford is a perfect example of this particular model, which following its initial purchase has only been under ownership three times.

Mr A Jones on the 29th November 1990, then a Mr Colley purchased the car in February 1993 from a Ford main dealer, Jewell Ltd in Watford and cherished the car until 2004 whereby ownership transferred to Anthony Francis.

Mr Francis is well known in the Ford RS community and was indeed the RS Owners Club Ford Escort S2 RS Turbo Registrar for a number of years. This was his personal show car from 2004 until 2016 where a continual programme of improvement combined with in-depth knowledge of the marque created a concours winning example.

A remarkable car with body coloured bumpers with black insert, body coloured wheel arch extensions, 90 Spec tailgate spoiler, halogen headlamps, front driving lamps, cooling vents in bonnet, central door locking, heated rear window, dual-tone horn, tailgate wash/wipe, tinted glass, quartz digital clock, aerial incorporated in rear windscreen, Recaro front reclining seats, 60/40 split rear back-rest, tilt/slide glass sunroof, tachometer, electrically operated front windows, quick-clear heated windscreen, electrically operated and heated door mirrors.

Wheels are unmarked and correct for the car and even have factory Uniroyal Rallye 195/50 R15 tyres. The ABS braking system designed in conjunction with Lucus Girling works perfectly and all lines, calipers discs and drums are spotlessly clean.

The 1990 stunner is priced at £32,995 and would most likely achieve that.
