Wheeler Dealers New Series Returns With Some Iconic Classics

Wheeler Dealers New Series
Wheeler Dealers New Series - August

Automotive extraordinaire Mike Brewer and mechanical guru Ant Anstead will return exclusively to Discovery for another helping of the Wheeler Dealers series this summer as the boys tackle even more iconic classics desperately in need of some TLC.

The multi-talented mechanic, Ant Anstead will endeavour to save a few more classic motoring specialities from the metaphorical scrapyard in the clouds by stretching their frugal budget to its extreme once again.

As ever, Mike is in charge of locating the cars that could potentially earn the boys some well-earned cash, while Ant in the Wheeler Dealers workshop tackles the odd engine, gearbox replacement and even a bare metal respray for the classics that need more than just ‘elbow grease’ if perfection is to be achieved.

  1. Hello I love watching your series but there seems to be one well known car in most of the world and also mentioned from your mechanic a Rover and the one I have in mind is the Rover75, this model has a good fans and clubs all over the world and the parts are quite reasonably priced.
    I have one myself a 2,5 litre 177 bhp v6 Rover 75 that I am restoring.

      • The front and back axles have been done- new starter motor- belts have been replaced-steering column changed- scratched front bumper filled-inspection with spark plugs- oil and filter change its taking time but but shes worth it. I given her a new name
        Silver Ghost.

  2. I’ve just watched the first program of the new series and I’m so disappointed. Its just a recap of previous programs. Come on the essence of this program is pointing out the problems and how to rectify Please think again

  3. hello, is it possible for mike and ant to obtain a citroen light 15 avant the last time i saw these car in abundance was in phnom penh granted it did have clive james doing the presentation but they might have one or two left over and of course in france maybe the usa

  4. Hi…I have a Toyota HiLux crew cab pickup (yes, the one Top Gear tried to wreck !)that I bought new in 1999 and have only ever used for off-road driving in the Falkland Islands. In 21 years it has only covered around 75k km. About two years ago I had to decide whether to scrap it or rebuild it. Thanks to WD for inspiring me to do a rebuild ! It took me about two years and was a lot more work than I thought. I’ve rebuilt old motorbikes before but never a car. I’m hoping to send it to Spain from the Falklands next UK spring and then drive it back to Wales. She is now a cracking truck thanks to Wheeler Dealers !!

  5. I have a 1989 Mercedes Benz 300 SE that we purchased new in 1989. It has been a wonderful vehicle for our family but we have since purchased a newer vehicle and must part ways with the 300 SE. Given the age of the vehicle it has a few issues to deal with but I believe it would make a great project piece for your program. The issues would not be prohibitive in cost or consume a great deal of time. Having watched your program and observing the detail and care with which you refresh and restore your vehicle projects I would very much like to see our 300 SE brought back to its pristine condition with a chance to be sold to someone who would be appreciative of its graceful lines and tradition of the Mercedes Benz brand.
